This is a friends plant but we dont know what it is.Taken last year. Bill
..don't know that one, but it looks an interesting plant... perhaps someone else might know..?
Love the colour but I've never seen this plant
What country are you in ?
Beautiful plant, but i too am completely foxed as to what it is. Someone will know?
Maybe this is one that hasn't come to this country yet.
Ah. Canada. I feel a bit better for not knowing what it is.
...the only plant I can find that's similar is Amianthium muscaetoxicum... Fly Poison as it's known, and native of E. North America... the star like flowers start off yellowish but fade to white... it is available in this country... but like Aconitum it's a poisonous plant...... just a guess..
Scarborough , Canada, not scarborough, Lincolnshire.
You'd probably get a better reply on an american or canadian forum.
I'm in the wilds of Canada (Toronto) and I have found the people on this site really know their plants and thought this was a great place to get it identified.
Now we've let you down Bill
I'd really like to know what that is, it would suit the style of my garden if not the soil and climate
I got it! its Bulbine frutescens 'Orange African Bulbine.got the ID from the University of British Columbia
Excellent. I'll check it out and see if it would like to live here.
