Planting out Salvias

I have grown salvias from seed and they are now about 6 inches high.  Unfortunately they have been that size for weeks.  Should I just plant them out and hope for the best?

  • 6 inches high is good-are we talking the bedding red salvias?

I would get them planted. Harden them off by putting outside during the day and bringing back inside at night for a few days beforehand though.

A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
  • Thank you so much everyone.  They're already in my mini greenhouse open to the elements so they should be brave enough now.  I thought they were annuals, so thanks for the advice re wintering
