    ..potato vine I should think... solanum crispum 'Glasnevin'...

    If it's got straggly stems which have an odd smell when you bruise them it's probably woody nightshade. It's that family if it isn't that one.

    ...I think you're right actually....it does look a  bit weedy growing on that fence...

    Thanks for your help. I thought it looked like Solanum but wasn't sure.

    Solanum , woody nightshade and potatoes are all of the same family , as we know potatoes can be eaten  and even some of the solanum berries  BUT  BEWARE THEY MUST BE CHECKED OUT! , They are a  like Fungi  get it wrong and its fatel.
