Can anyone tell me the name of this plant, I need to pot it on, and need to know what to use.image

    some sort of bromeliad, not idea which one though

    Fascicularia bicolor is indeed a Bromeliad and hardy in much of Britain, in a well drained sunny spot.

    Thanks everyone, seems I need to buy some special compost to repot it.   Cannot believe how well this had done outside, this year it has three flowers coming, last year was just one, am worried I will upset it when I repot.
