tomato side shoots

my Tom plants appear to be splitting into two stems after the 1st oTruss, leaving me undecided which is a side shoot and which is the main stem do I leave them alone or do I pinch out what I think is a side shoot.

What type of tomato plant is it? Is it inside greenhouse or outside?

    It's not a mess, it's a nature reserve.

    Hi jazzy2

Shirley should be grown as a single stem. You will have to decide which of the shoots is less dominant and remove it. Make sure you dont remove the flower truss.  Some varities do this splitting. Sometimes I will let an extra shoot grow.It depends on how much space you have. Overcrowding will lead to more fungal diseases because the air can't circulate as well.
