Choisya Sundance

My choisya sundance is only bushing out on the side overhanging the path and not at the other side much at all is there any way that I can 'train' it by pruning?

I'd prune it back immediately after flowering. Or, if you're impatient, in Spring before it starts growing, but you'd sacrifice that season's flowers.

If you do it now , it's unlikely to make any new growth and might look ugly over the winter.

  • Thank you. Would you advise pruning the whole bush then and if so how? I've only done it once and I think, being a complete novice, I may have over-pruned!

  • Thank you I will wait until the Spring and follow your advice.
