Has anyone else noticed on this forum how the Laydees have their OH (oh how I hate that OH business) mowing the lawn? Swrong with 'em? Can't a girl start a lawnmower and walk?

  • I think my OH has mowed the lawn once - when the mower was new. He likes new gadgets. He is good for a lot of DIY though and even built me a new shed this year (and put 2 greenhouses together). I can't let him loose on anything where there are any plants to be trodden on though....

That's fine when there's no girl there Hosta but when there is I just don't understand. EEEK! I need a boy to get this spider out of the bath. Get it out yourself you dozey bint! image

As for you PS2...you've just revealed your ultimate plan with the lawn nibbling carry on! Spiffing wheeze if I may say so!!!image

I made my compost bins with bits of wood and screws.

I'm going to make a floating jetty and then I'm going to make a shed from discarded doors.

Hosta you need to read back over the lawns getting smaller bit! It might take you slightly longer with 7acres though! image

runnybeak. the mother of a friend phoned her after father moved out and asked " how to you make a coffee? "

To  be fair, father was a top chef who made Princess Anne's wedding cake.

Many years ago I went to a microwave cookery class and there was a Bishop on the course who, at 93, had never made a cup of tea. As you say, Runny, mummy then housekeeper then wife!

I was presented by a chicken and asked to carve.

"I've never carved a chicken in my life " I said.

" give me one good reason why this is so"

" I'll give you 3: my mother , my ex wife and my husband"

    She carved!
