  • I know what you mean about the lawn Yviestevie, mine has changed shape so often because I've wanted to put a plant in, that it screams every time I chop a bit more off. I sometimes think I will be down to a gravel bed one day and then I will have to sell the lawn mower! Still I could go and sit on the large grass border outside our house and breathe in the fumes from passing traffic, if I yearn for a bit of grass.

You're right B3! I lost my dark coloured secateurs so bought white ones. Of course the dark ones turned up but I'm with you on that one.

I noticed that myself STGV. Makes mine look like a seedling. And that garden all looks shockingly tidy and lovely....I'm telling you. Bad as the rest of us and hasn't realised!image

We're teasing Cb! Your garden is gorgeous! When mines finished that's what it's going to look like!!!!image

  • Actually CB, I also should have said your garden looks lovely cos it definitely does!

not only will my garden never be finished: I fear it will never even become " under control" . I'm happy with that though.image

If I ever get to "maintenance only" I’d have to find a new hobby ....but its not likely to happen any time soonimage

oops, you said " hobby" , not hubby, sorryimage

I thought you meant "hubby" did all the big stuff and you'd not need him after it was finished.
