Awwwww look at those wee guys. They are so cute.

I hope your're not thinking plum sauce Hosta!

My pond is quite big Redwing. Maybe I just think so because I've never had one before but it's about forty feet by thirtyish and four and a half feet deep somewhere! It was very badly overgrown and this Summer I threw my tiny niece in and she cleared some of the surface weeds away leaving clear spaces so now it looks like water!! I can see beautiful reflections and everything now!

Next year or maybe this Winter I'm going to make a floating jetty because access to the middle is so restricted. I'm hoping to sail about Pugwash stylee!!!

Your place looks great. Nice to see a bit of the wet stuff. Dove says the ducks poop everywhere. Don't you mind?

This was the first summer we were here, so 3 years ago. Those hostas behind hadn't even been planted into the ground after coming from last house.

The following year I stopped feeding them at the pond in the background as they'd become very fond of nestling down on emerging plants, so now they stay down at the lake.

That's a small lake, definitely Hosta, and as you know, when I get my tent I am going to camp down there.

  • Gosh Hosta your garden ( estate!) sounds really fab......can I come camping too! Have you any pics of your lake?
