Can anyone recommend a plant to put into these two containers?

Currently contains two buxus plants. When I moved in they were left behind. I hadn't a plan for them, so potted them in these containers. I want a change now.

Its the front garden and north facing. Shade for most of the day, especially during winter. A bit exposed to the wind, the street seems a channel for it in October, and I live in the north east of England. Would like something evergreen or something interesting in the winter.

I had thought about sarcococca confusa.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks for reading

    Hi Tina

I recently put two variagated hollies in a couple of my pots. They are growing really well and have some lovely red berries. Nice and bright for dark winter months. I was hoping to grow them into standards but I actually quite like their current shape.

These were about £8 each so not a bad investment.
