Will I lose my leylandi trees

We have long established Leylandi trees along the side of our garden.  Ivy and Honeysuckle have appeared and are growing rapidly,  They have appeared along the middle of the trees, at one end I have removed the Ivy at the bottom of the tree and a lot of the branches have died.  My question is do I just leave the Ivy and Honeysuckle or should I remove them?  Will I eventually lose my Leyland trees?

Any part of a leylandii that's gone brown won't renew. The more the ivy and honeysuckle cover the more of the leylandii will go. Personally I'd rather have ivy and honeysuckle. The problem is if the leylandii do die thay will eventually do what dead trees do , fall over
