Sweet red peppers

Hi i got some seeds out of a sweet red pepper last year and thought id have a go at growing some. I have loads but they are still green and i am wondering what i can do next. Is there anything i can do to make them go red and also can they be eaten green ?

  • robo4.......have a look at the "Sweet Pepper" thread in fruit and veg.  Several of us have the same problem this year.

They require heat to ripen fully but as it is getting a bit late in the season, it is a bit doubtful.

You can certainly eat them in the green stateimage
