What are these unidentified objects???

Hi,

Does anyone have any idea what these wierd little things are which keep appering in clusters in my garden???

Are they poisonous/ dangerous??

Thinking back-and that picture came from here- the general consensus that they were some kind of insulation that had drifted over from a neighbour who was having work done

Squeeze one -are they like polystyrene ?
