Before and afters

Just posting a couple of pics to show how far my little garden has come. 18 months ago I was overwhelmed with the task ahead after moving into the biggest and most complicated garden I had ever owned. With lots (and I mean lots) of encouragement and support from you guys it actually looks like a garden now.image

Most of my work has been maintaining and developing what was originally here. But there were a couple of patches that I have made my own, so here, like a very proud mummy, are a couple of pics. I know it's not perfect, still lots of ideas and gaps to fill but this morning looking at my little  'white patch', I felt very proud. Sorry for showing off, but it made me very happy following on from a very trying previous week and I know people do like to see before and afters. image

Early sping, when what is in it now was just lined up in seeds trays in the living room. image

I love a before and after DD - brilliant!  Isn't it tremendous how quickly something can change  image

How you find the time to do what you do is incredible. I know how hard it can be to juggle all those plates, so I've put a hat on so that I can take it off to you image

It's hard to beat white planting for shade, especially an area you can see from a window. It glows at dusk image

  • Well done DD, looks lovely. And in just one year. White flowers are my favourite too.
