Before and afters
Just posting a couple of pics to show how far my little garden has come. 18 months ago I was overwhelmed with the task ahead after moving into the biggest and most complicated garden I had ever owned. With lots (and I mean lots) of encouragement and support from you guys it actually looks like a garden now.
Most of my work has been maintaining and developing what was originally here. But there were a couple of patches that I have made my own, so here, like a very proud mummy, are a couple of pics. I know it's not perfect, still lots of ideas and gaps to fill but this morning looking at my little 'white patch', I felt very proud. Sorry for showing off, but it made me very happy following on from a very trying previous week and I know people do like to see before and afters.

Early sping, when what is in it now was just lined up in seeds trays in the living room.

That looks fab DD, everything flourishing, wish my white shady border looked like that
Looks beautiful DD, well done.I'm like you in early spring.......seed trays everywhere but I love growing from seed
I love a before and after DD - brilliant! Isn't it tremendous how quickly something can change
How you find the time to do what you do is incredible. I know how hard it can be to juggle all those plates, so I've put a hat on so that I can take it off to you
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Love it.

It's hard to beat white planting for shade, especially an area you can see from a window. It glows at dusk
