Crimson King Maple
I have a small Crimson King maple, planted earlier this Summer, but it now has a white powdery mildew on almost all of the leaves. Is this caused by the soil being too wet, or is the soil lacking in something? Can someone please advise the best treatment? Thanks.

Fairly normal for this cultivar at this time of year. Ours has had this every year for the last 20 years. It is now a very large tree. No treatment, but you could spray with a fungicide if you wanted to.
