Hi

I'm in the process of clearing out lots of weeds as they are growing up around young mat-forming plants.  I plan to put down lots of mulch as soon as the weeding is done, but I need to know if mulch will stop mat-forming plants from forming mats?!

    I have pea shingle around a lot of mat forming plants; it doesn't stop them at all.
