New turf down, do I need to water when its raining?

Stupid question!
We laid new turf today and it has been drizzling all morning and forecast heavy rain later, do I still need to water it?

No -not if it is raining properly-only if you get a long dry spell
Yes, you need to keep it wet through to where the roots meet the surface you've laid the turf on. Sun and drying winds at this time of year can dry the turf out without you noticing until it's too late.
