Bamboo Plants Bissett

Hi,

Im thinking of getting Bissett Bamboo plants for going along the bottom of a boundary fence, my problem is that I heard that they spread like wild fire.

Im planting them in the ground as I heard they would die if I left them in pots under the ground.

Would appreciate any info.

    I'm thinking of digging a planting hole then lining it with pond liner, hopefully that should do it. image I've never had trouble in the past, I've had three lots of bamboo planted in the soil, but hearing all this on the forum I'm taking  precautions image

     Verdun thanks for the info on Bamboos.

    Any ideas what I could use now to grow up my boundary fence, I thought about conifers but not sure as they grow out the way.

    Looking at something to grow about 6 - 8 meters.
