    Ooooh, pansyface, that's lovely. I'm sure it was our hottest day of the year in Thursday (I heard a chiffchaff singing!) then it was downhill all the way. I doubt we're going to get enough sun now to bring out the sunflowers. image

  • Talking of bees i have some orchids that grow wild in the lawn beautiful but  this year a rabbit decided the flowers needed removing so pics are from a couple of years back

  • I know little devils,image they never bothered them before but this time they just snipped through the flower stem and left it there so i put a wire netting cage round the survivors so that they could set  their seed.

    They were here when we moved in many years ago i initially thought they were blue bells because of the leaves so poor things got mowed until i realised what they were after leaving one to flowerimage

  • I still have loads of bees in the garden. The weather has been lovely these past few days and it's a real pleasure to hear the buzzing.
