Please can anyone help i recently found some mushroom growths down the side of a shed wall thats backs along our garden.  TODAY I NOTICED THEM GROWING IN MY BORDER SOIL NEAR THE SHED I HAVE ATTACHED SOME PICTURES.

I AM HOPING THAT ITS CURABLE AND NOT TOO SERIOUS I HAVE TREATED THE WALL WITH JEYES FLUID AFTER CLEARING THE FUNGI.

we inherited this garden a year ago and belive that the chap before had a green house on this spot.

Grow on rotting elder as a rule, bits of it in the soil is enough. Is your shed made of wood and is it rotting?

the shed is brick based,  but do you think the greenhouse that was there before my border had a rotting base.  

Thanks for your help,  i am really concerned that i won't be able to get rid of it do you think i will just have to keep picking it out i have lots of shrubs and plants in my border.

It really shouldn't cause a problem - it feeds on wood that is already rotten - it doesn't kill shrubs or trees itself.  Don't get  worried about it

No relation to the dreaded honey fungus. I should think it relates to the old greenouse or other wood lying around. There are fungi everywhere, most of them are nothing to worry about. Picking them out won't make any difference to anything
