The yellow one could be a broom I guess.

Gravity has taken a turn for the worst where you live, so gardening will present many new and exciting opportunities.  Berbeiris, The reds shrub, will probably not mind as it is impervious to most ills, the yellow one is possiblyy kerria - a close up would help with identification, whichever way up it occurs.

  • Sorry but this wasn't put on upside down purposely. Unfortunately it happened and it was a genuine accident. Thanks for your help so far.

I agree the red looks like berberris.

The yellow one could be Batchelor's buttons - Kerria japonica. Can you take another picture a bit closer?

The one on the right is just too vague to be sure but I don't think it's a broom. The shape seems wrong.

Splendid berberis. Wish mine was that big.
