Strange Shrub

Hello all.
ive been nurturing this shrub for several years putting it in the greenhouse over winter potion the patibuying the summer. This year it has rewarded me with some green flowers. It was given to me by an old gentleman who was going into sheltered accommodation and I never got to ask him what it was. It's about 3ft tall now after about 4 years

I believe it is Trochodendron aralioides.
A beautiful interesting glossy leaved evergreen shrub.
It can be on the tender side.
In South Wales our one is planted in the ground , in a sheltered spot.

Thank you so much. How big is yours I just read that it can grow to 20 metres?
Not very big.
They are slow to start with.
We had a big one but lost it.
The new one has only been in 4-5 years so is still quite small.
