Help clearing land

Hi Everyone

Brought a piece of land to make my garden bigger. The problem I have now is that we have come to turn the soil over and its got bricks which have been dumped by the builders. We have been doing it with a garden fork but its back breaking. Is there an easier way to complete this job. (Can't get a mini digger to the land area)Would a Rotavator be OK with the bricks or have the bricks got to come out first?

No, this needs digging over by hand - but if it's really heavy work can you manage to pay someone to do it?  Ask at a local garden centre if there's someone who does general gardening. image

It would destroy a rotavator and your back and arms. There's a lot of brick rubble in my garden and it does make good drainage. I've taken out most of the surface rubbish and bricks, handy for hardcore for paths, shed base etc. But tons of it is still there, further down. Plants grow here in spite of it.
