Allotment Space Available (Sort of)

[blockquote class=postcontent restore]Hi All,

We live near Guildford. We have just bought 4 acres of land behind (and adjacent) to our property. We are looking for someone who wants to create and maintain some veg / fruit beds.

We are happy with either an arrangement where we pay a gardener to do this for us OR where we have some sort of arrangement where we share in the produce (and get some input into what we want grown!)

Basically we are very very keen cooks and want the food for our family.

Finally, if you have an interest in keeping Chickens or Bees in the field then we are also up for that too.......

Be aware, that technically if this is agricultural land you need planning permission if you incorporate this land into your garden.

You can of course ignore the necessity but you may have to return this to agricultural land in the future.

I would potentially be interested in this if the offer is still available and depending on where you are located.

Make sure you get it all tied up legally, using a solicitor, or you may find you have sitting tenants unto the tenth generation.

It's not as simple as it appears.
