Unusual request
We are looking for aluminium glazing struts (approx 6ft long) that are used to erect greenhouses . We are hoping to glaze one side of a pergola and to secure these 'glazing struts' to the uprights of the pergola to then insert panes of glass into. We have looked at many spares, accessories websites but have come up blank. Does anyone know where we may obtain 8 -10 of these types of struts please?

Have you been and talked to several glass firms? You may be better off talking to a wooden window firm that can produce bespoke struts and glass for you. They will know the regulation about safety glass, if it is required.
That's something we haven't done yet as we're looking to save costs, but I do think it would be a plan if nothing else materialises. Thank you Welshonion
What about using curtain rails to slide the panes into:
why not do it the old fashion way using wood and putty.
this would be the cheapest way.
Was using putty to put in a windown when a wasp was flying round my head I waved it away while squeezing the putty to shape unfortunately the wasp must hav tuck in the putty an I ended up squeezing it needless to say the little blighter stung me before he died. Ooouch!
