New Lawn has dead patches

We had a new lawn laid about 6 weeks ago, most of it is green and healthy and growing well. We recently noticed two square patches that appear brown, dry and not to be growing. Does anyone have an idea what this could be? They look as though someone has placed an object on top of them and killed the grass, the site is sunny, open and of course wet! Any ideas please?

no, and no dogs can enter the garden, could it be a fox?
