    Grown theese for the first time in pots

     Realy pleased with them even though not fully open yet

    Will they flower again next year ? if so how do i look after them.

    Lovely pictures. Really nice colours Aliesh and that's before they have opened.

    I've got a few tulips here, some out and some just coming through, they started their lives in pots and gradually got planted out, they are coming back from last year. Don't know that much about tulips, think the fancier types might need a bit more looking after.  Is that the honesty to the left of them?

    Mine to have look wonderful this year I grown rasberry ripple will be planting more later this year , yes they should flower next year.

    I just let them die down in the pots and move the pots when they are past blooming.

    But I remember an old neighbour grew his tulips in pots and every year he lifted them and let them dry out and replant in Autumn also he fed his with tomatoe feed.

    Thanks for the info.Yes that is honesty next to them.

    I also have a perenial honesty which i bought last year, i saw it at chelsea flower show 

    it's very pale mauve and has a lovely sent.see pic below

    Looks really pretty, didn't realise that you can get a perenial version. I'm very excited about growing this plant........thanks gardengirl for the seeds

    Think I admired this plant before and just not realised what is was
