I found this when it was just a small seedling, along with a few others. It has grown to this size in 2 years. It hasn't flowered (yet?). Any ideas what it is please?

Soz, can't be much help but I do know it isn't a tree peony. Doesn't look much like any peony to me. Hope someone can help you more.
...possibly a Hydrangea of some sort...
...I should add, I would keep that going, it might be a nice plant in time...

Ooh, I hope it is a hydrangea, that'd be nice. I have 5! But the one in the photo is the biggest. Do they usually self seed around like that, hydrangeas then?
The leaves don't look correct for elder but the large one in the photo has a general form that is very reminiscent of an elder, - do the leaves smell when bruised and elder does seed around
I have a few elders growing from cuttings, and they look very like that. Just been out to check their leaves, and they also have that very slight zig zag around the edge. So my vote goes with elder.
If they are, homemade elderflower cordial is great - check out the web for recipes
...yes I now think you may be right with that... the photo in the middle has a Sambucus nigra look about it... here's a BBC image of the common Elder...
