robinson greenhouse for sale

we have just inherited 2 greenhouses from the purchase of our new home - we have no use for them so will be looking to sell on - we were informed that one of the greenhouses is actually a robinson royal aluminium frame 10x8 with heaters, lighting & shelving - we know it costs about £3000 new but dont know what would be a reasonable selling price now or where to advertise.

i checked B&Q for prices of aluminium 10x8 greenhouses and they are about £1000 - not inc heaters etc so we thought that maybe £700-£800 would be reasonable?

im looking for your thoughts on pricing & advertising please

thanks!

Would the buyer have to dismantle it? Could you show us some photos?

Advertise in the local paper.  Don't expect to get as much as you think they're worth.

Get the new owners to dismantle or you will have to pay for the inevitable broken glass.

Finding it hard to conceive of getting rid of two in situ greenhouses.  I think you will be flattened in the rush.

I agree with welshonion; are you really really really sure you want to get rid of both of them, especially the one that sounds like the Rolls Royce of greenhouses. I bought a new greenhouse spring 2012 and am SO enjoying it. It gives a completely new dimension to gardening.image

i expected those replies image..... wanted to get some gardeners opinions on them as we dont really have a clue! were passing the smaller of the two onto the parents so the kids get the enjoyment from them but we would prefer to lounge in the sunniest part of garden with a glass of vino instead, lol

so i have advertised on a few local sites but just wasnt sure on the value.... would ppl agree £700 is reasonable?

is there a for sale section on here?

No 'for sale' area here, I suspect it would attract too many companies trying to sell stuff.
