    ok great thanks!

so if i need to overwinter it is it worth planting out or shall i whack it in a pot?

and also, if u dont mind answering, would these Crocosmia also have to be overwintered?

and i dont have a greenhouse, i have a small shed, would that do or should i bring them inside? thanks!

Crocosmia is as tough as old boots up here. I would just plant it outside - no special treatment for over winter.

Just put it in the garden, no need to over winter those, plant them at leat 3inches deep or they will rock if you are in a windy area.  I have pulled these out of the garden, left them overwinter in a box and planted where I wanted them the following spring, they all came up. In fact it's a job to get rid of them.
