Looking for a cherry blossom tree
Hello,
I'm new to this thread and am looking for a bit of advice. I'm completely redoing my smallish old (London) town garden and am looking for a cherry blossom tree, but have a few spcecifications. I was hoping that someone might be able to suggest something for me?
I was looking for a smallish tree (no larger that about 10feet); pink fragrant blossom, with autumn colour if possible. I intend to plant it next to an East facing wall.
Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.
Thanks for your time,
A

...I will recommend either of these two but they are not 'cherry blossom trees', but I think would suit your purpose a little better.
Viburnum bodnantense 'Dawn' or 'Charles Lamont'... the former has lighter pink flowers that fade to white, the latter has darker uniform pink flowers. Both heavily scented throughout winter and into Spring up to Easter or so.... autumn colour... about 10 foot. These are upright but larger growing shrubs, rather than trees...
...have a look at those and see what you think before making a choice...
