A bit of advice on a couple of plants

Hello,

Ive got the following two plants in my garden (ringed in red). I was wondering whether anyone could identify them for me having misplaced the labels.

Also, to what extent can I cut them back without damaging or inhibiting their growth?

Many thanks in advance

Yup, I think we need better photos. Good luck with them. Some really close up pics of the leaves would helpimage

Might be Lonicera nitida, 'Baggeson's Gold' (spelling might be a bit out). Pic a bit small but has the over all appearance of that.

Agree the top 2 euonymous in soft focus

I agree with Nutcutlet on both (I have them in my garden. You can prune them back now ( a good time for pruning evergreens), quite hard if you want to. Baggesen's Gold is often grown as a short hedge, clipped a few times a year. It strikes very easily from cuttings.

  • Thanks for everyones help. If I take cuttings from the Baggesen's Gold is it the simple take a green shot, trim to length, strip leaves and place down the side of a pot to root?
