Hoya
I have had this Hoya (don't know what sort) for about 8 years it has flowered every year and just gets bigger and bigger, this year there is a fruit on it, this fruit is about one and a half inches in length very green and looks like a pepper. I had no idea that this plant would produce fruit. What do I do with the fruit, has anyone else had this happen.

No, I've never seen mine even think about producing a fruit.

It might be more like a seed pod, perhaps. I wouldn't eat it, but I would look out for it ripening, and collecting the seed. How lucky! I hope the seeds germinate for you.
I will report back if the fruit does ripen, I wonder if it will change colour.

No bother. I am currently watching seed pods on an oleander, waiting for them to ripen, so we are in the same boat.
Sounds like a seed pot. We have been growing hoyas for over 20 yrs and they do not fruit. You can grow them with the seeds once it splits open, however; it is much easier to propagate with a cutting.

You are correct, pansy, I suppose I was thinking more of fruits that you grow to eat as fruit, and those that are largely vessels for seeds. Apologies for my imprecision, I shall try not to do it again.
I usually leave the pedantry to Hostafan. He keeps the standards up. I don't know what came over me.
