Trachycarpus fortunei (Windmill palm)

The tips of the beautiful leaves of my Trachycarpus fortunei (Windmill palm) are disfigured. Could they be being chewed off by something or is it a disease?

I don't think it's wind damage as some of the new leaves are affected as they emerge.

Any ideas?

Can you post a pic? They do get those brown tips and patches even before emerging after damp weather and it has been damp for over a year now.

  • Mine has too, but im not worrying as it seems to be the older leaves and the top is healthy. I think it is probably down to the weather. Good we have that to blame it on.
