Seedlings and frost

Hi, I have recently sown some seed direct into the gound and now have lots of seedlings dotted around the garden. I think we might get some frost at the weekend - will they be ok? Is there anything in particualr I should do?

I have sown a wildflower mix, cosmos, poppy, parsley, rocket, spinach, chives, coriander, spring onion.

All are tiny, just starting to sprout true leaves.

Cosmos and possibly rocket might appreciate some fleece or a sheet of newspaper. The restshould be OK. Seeds that have germinated outside aren't as fragile as seedlings taken out of a greenhouse.

  • Thanks nutcutlet. Fleece I can do - I've got a huge role of it image

I went for sowing now because mid-May seemed awfully late to be sowing seed, but the seedlings are just so tiny!
