Wooden log edging
Hi
I am replacing wooden logs aroung the perimeter of my garden, which is used as a 'soil retaining wall.
The current logs have been in situ for a period of thirteen years and have quite simply, decayed over that time.
I would be greatful if someone could advise me on whether a weed barrier of some sort would assist if placed in between the wood and the soil?
Or any alternative ides greatfully accepted !!!
Many thanks

I have put down 54 feet of log rolls and I put them down on a a bed of gravel to improve drainage, hopefully this will work but time will tell.
Thanks very much, I'll give it a go..
