advice about my rose bush

Hi Everyone

Can someone help.   I have had to move my rose bush (its 3 years old) last week and now it looks dead with droopy leaves.

Its a bit early to prune - what can I do - its had lots of water and a mulch.

Can you show us a photo of it so that we can get an idea of what it looks like?

Hi mave It will take a bit of time to establish I would have moved it in November, but it will be alrightimage
  • probably more angry than sulking, not good to move roses in summer, november or spring would have been better, I wouldnt give it the shock of prunning, I would mulch, and see what happens

  • Thank you for your advice - think I'll mulch a bit more and leave it until November when I'll prune it

If it has made any very fresh, long and juicy stems this summer you may lose them. More mature shoots should pull through.
