Rats!

Hi, I have a small apple tree which has provided a bountiful crop of apples this year. I know that I have rats living near the base of the tree and I was wondering if the apples will be safe to eat after a simple wash with water or should I steer clear? Thank you in advance

I'm sure they will be fine.

  • And do something about the rats!

On the subject of rats, stuck in traffic today, I looked out of my side window and so a rat in broad day light on th grass verge happily going about it's business.

Now I realise you are never more than 6ft from a rat, or so I'm told but I've never seen one so bold in the middle of a city.
