Hi, Can anyone tell me what this plant is? I have lots of it in my flowerbed and know it's very common but don't know if I should leave it or get rid of it. Many thanks, Jane
I see you are in Cornwall. My aquilegias, otherwise known as granny's bonnets, haven't done much yet. Great cottage garden flower, which seeds around and new plants take on various colours as plant is a bit promiscuous, welcoming every bee,tom or harry in sight.

Jane - it looks very much like an Aquilegia to me
Leave some it for now and see if you like the flowers then make your mind up

Hi, thank to you to everyone for your replies. I will definitely keep the Aquilegias, especially if the bees will appreciate them
