I have bought some ransom bulbs (I know they are invasive but I have gone a little allium crazy and want to try eating them ).

How deep should I plant them?

about twice their depth, but you don't eat the bulbs, you eat the leaves and flowers

Thanks. I was going to do the standard bulb thing of twice their depth but they are very long and thin and wondered if that would be too deep.

The bulbs are meant to be edible as well but I was planning on only eating the leaves, maybe flowers (atleast until they have established a good size clump)
