Problem with camellia

I have a large camellia which has been in the garden for ten years. Flowers beautifully every spring. Unfortunately the weight of the snow has broken one of the main branches which I have removed this morning. There is another large branch not broken but now resting almost on the ground. Still full of buds. Shape of bush now ruined. So, what do I do next? How to restore this highlight of my spring garden?

Boardy, gently lift the branch and support it with a forked twiggy stick or use a string to the main stem.
The time to prune and clean them is after flower drop, they then start to grow again, like fruit bushes they do need air in the centre so clear some of the growth from the main stem.
A mulch of  composted pine leaves will give them the acidic PH they need and even in wet weather I do soak mine once a week.
    Hope this helps.

    Frank.

Thanks for advice, Frank. Have lifted branch and propped it up successfully. Will tidy up after flowering and hope that shape will recover. Still covered with hundreds of buds, all we need now is a bit of warmth for them to flower.
