Hydrangea Kardinal Violet starting to lose colour.

Please excuse my second post on the same subject but my original post has an odd title due to laptop problem and I can't see how to change it but will try to delete it.

I have a Hydrangea Kardinal Violet planted in early June 2015 and it is starting to lose its colour.  As a novice I am unsure if this is natural at this time of year or whether it needs  a hydrangea colourant treatments(I used Vitax about 6 weeks ago).  Any advice from our readers would be appreciated.

The first of my hydrangea flowers are starting to go over, they lose their colour but stay intact. On some the foliage is starting to colour up for the autumn, think its probably the time of the year

I love the various shades hydrangea blooms go through as they fade towards autumn - just as beautiful as the fresh colours of the new bloom, but different.  image
