Mimosa

susallsusall Posts: 2

I have grown several Mimosa plants in my conservatory from Greek seed which have reached 6ft or so. This year, I put them outside for the summer but what should I do with them? Can I cut them back to make bushier specimens?

According to the RHS it 'resents hard pruning'.

Thanks very much for the links. Shall experiment and leave one outside this winter although South Derbyshire might be the death of it. My variety is deciduous so is presumably not dealbata but I'm unlikely to find out! I shall keep hoping for flowers.
