Help me to resurrect a potted tree
am new to this website, but felt I needed some expert advice from better skilled gardeners. I have a small tree in a pot outside. It catches the sun. I neglected it for 3.5 weeks and when I came back the top branches had dried out. Over the last 2 weeks I've been watering it at least twice weekly. I'm reluctant to get pruners on to take it down because the bottom half is fine. What can I do, keep watering it or is there a spray something I can plant in the soil to resurrect the dried out branches and leaves?

Reckon the top half is dead, I would prune it and pray.
Sorry, but once a conifer like that has turned brown it won't re-grow. Conifer's don't have the spare buds to make more leaves.
