Best spring onions

Thsi year I grew White Lisbon and Ishikura. The former are slow growing but tasty, the latter are fast growin but coarse and bland. Can anyone recommend other spring onions to try or is White Lisbon my best bet? I was disappointed by Ishikura, I expected much better.

Try the Italian spring onion Lilia. Good, strong flavour, red stems and if you leave them they will produce full size onions.

I'd suggest Lilia too. White Lisbon is a good old reliable.
