Can we see the whole plant and the leaves please
Unfortunately there is no picture with the leaves it's the only picture I have
When was it taken?
Was it very tall?
Was it woody?
What sort of place was it growing in?
It's in the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire
it's set as a pop video

I think it could be a flower spike still in bud of a plant like an aruncus or an astilbe.
I think it's an astilbe. I don't know much about them but it looks just like the flowers on a self sown one in my garden.
Could be false goat's beard.
Changed my mind (and about the one in my garden) having seen aruncus dioicus at Kinston Lacy this week.
Think you've got it right now LG
That's what I thought it was. I wonder if Sealighter looked back for an answer?

Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
