Herbs

Kayfersmum

I received a wonderful birthday present this morning of a large selection of herbs and a standard bay tree. Is it too early to plant them outside? I live in the south of England. Thanks for your help.

I wouldn't plant them out just yet, if you have a conservatory or greenhouse then put them in their, as annual and biennial herbs usually need warmer weather

I'd hold fire Kayfersmum, most of them are lovers of mild climes.  Besides, there is snow and -5C in Surrey and they wont like it!
