Courgette leaves turning brown?

Hi everyone,
I have two courgette plants that are giving off a lot of courgettes! However over the last couple of weeks then leaves and turning brown and patchy. I say that around 70% of each plant is affected!
In the first photo, to looks as though they are starting to shrivel up and die!
Any ideas what this is?

That's powdery mildew and is a very common occurrence on courgettes.

All the photos online show it being much whiter and not with the brown spots.
Could also be downy mildew and/or a virus...
