hi all
ive got some sweetcorn under netting at the moment, it's almost touching the top now. Is it best to cane them now or let Mother Nature do her thing?

They shouldn't need caning. Let them be free
It doesnt need to be netted either. Its wind pollinated, so let the breezes get at it.
If they're planted in blocks/rows they should be self-supporting.
plus side of netting is that it keeps the crows from pecking into them as they did with mine last year.
This year they're in the tunnel.
