Hello

We have just moved into a new house and we have a few trees. This is one of them - see photographs - I don't know what type of tree it is but the black spots and discolouration affect all of the leaves, some worse than others. The base of the tree is not looking very healthy either. 

There is a tree next to this one but this is fine... Any thoughts?

    Can you post a pic of the healthy plant? It looks to be laurel, a pic would help to ID the plant and we can go from there. It may be shot hole.
